Pastor Dusty is leading us through the book of Matthew, with a passage from Matt 23:37-24:36. Jesus is clear: he is coming back, but not yet, and no one knows when but the Father. Jesus stresses again and again that there will be many tribulations, persecutions, false Christs and false prophets before the Great Tribulation followed by Jesus’ return. The disciple of Jesus should not be distracted by “wars and rumors of wars” or speculation on Jesus’ return. This is a waste of time. Our focus should be on proclaiming the Kingdom to all peoples… and (next week) be be ready for his return in the blink of an eye.

OUTREACH MINISTRIES
Thursday Outreach Lunches: Thursdays @12noon at Webster Lake/EB Raines Park. All hands are welcome to developing community and loving folks, as Jesus commanded - the least of these. Meal prep begins at 10am at NSCC. Typically, we minister in the large pavilions (or another pavilion if those are otherwise in use/rented) just south of Webster lake for building community and relationships. It's exciting times!
We are connecting with Community Partners and finding ways to volunteer with other vibrant and active ministries that are already serving the homeless in our area. We are dedicated to pursue the "Least of These" in our community. Thank you for those that have participated over the years - as we look continue for the remainder of 2025 reaching those around us!! We aren’t called to stay in our building - we are called to go out! Let’s continue to serve in our community!
