First Time

Welcome

First Time Here?

You are welcome, here.
We love you. Sure, we don’t know you yet… but Jesus does, and we love that guy, so… we love you.

We imagine you have questions so we’ve done our best to anticipate some of your questions. But please don’t hesitate to ask Pastor Dusty (he might not know the answers, but he could use some humbling).

Where and When?

Where: 12156 Grant Circle. Thornton, CO 80241 (close to 120th and I-25, behind the new hotels they’re building).
When: Our primary worship service is Saturday Mornings at 11 am and wraps up shortly after 12 pm. Folks are there setting up (and socializing) in the hour before, and we eat lunch together and fellowship together after service, usually finishing up shortly after 1pm.

What should I wear?

Pretty much whatever you want. Keep it PG :D. Some wear shorts and t-shirts, some wear dresses, some (very few) wear a suit. The focus won’t be on you and what you wear… we are here to worship God together.

What About my kids?

We have GREAT kids programs ages 0-11 (5th grade) and would love to have your kids join in the learning and fun. That said, kids are absolutely welcome in the worship service as well.

What do y’all do in “Service”?

The best way to find out is to visit… or check out our live stream. We usually open with 10-15 minutes of worship through music, and throw some announcements about upcoming events in there. Then we have an open time of prayer and sharing: anyone is welcome to bring prayer requests, praise reports, and share what God has done or is saying through them (aka prophecy). Bring (and use) your discernment. Then the pastor preaches (aka teaches from the Bible and applies it to our lives), usually for 20-30 minutes (unless he gets REALLY excited). And then we respond with more singing, usually another 1 or 2 songs… and it’s on to lunch!

Food and Drinks?

We provide coffee, tea and snacks ahead of time, and you are welcome to bring those in to the service. After service we enjoy fellowship lunch together. Food is provided, but there’s no pressure to eat and/or stay (especially if you’ve already had enough of these weirdos).
