Community Outreach

Whatever you do to the least of these…

Ever since our church replanted in Thornton, God has been calling us to serve our community, with a special focus on the un-housed. We want to be faithful to His calling. We seek to live this out in a number of ways. One of the most regular ways we are serving is by serving a free lunch at E.B. Raines park every Thursday at noon. More than filling bellies, this is an opportunity to “fill hearts,” to build meaningful relationships with all kinds of folks in our community and live out the love of Jesus.

Thursday Outreach Lunches: Thursdays @12noon at Webster Lake/EB Rains Jr. Memorial Park. All hands are welcome to come join in passing out food and developing community with the least of these. If you can join for meal prep, it begins at 10am at NSCC. Join us in the large pavilions just south of Webster lake for building community and relationships. It's exciting times!

In addition to our weekly lunch we:

  • Collect and give Christmas gifts to homeless and impoverished in our community

  • Support food and clothes drives
